Book Review – The Wealthy Spirit

Thanks to my dear best friend Monika, I’ve been reading The Wealthy Spirit by Chellie Campbell, every day for the last 50 days.  The book provides proven actions and insights for your life to achieve the wealth, financial and spiritual success you want.

What I LOVE about this book is that it’s a quick read. I have it downloaded on my phone through Kindle, and I’ve set a recurring morning alarm to read it as I’m starting my day. It’s a simple one and half pages filled with a quick story and affirmations to adopt for the day. After I read it, I think about how I will apply Chellie’s words of wisdom to go out and create abundance with all the “ships” I send out for the day (more to come on the ships).

The book has countless helpful tips, but my top favorite are:

Positive thinking

If you believe YOU deserve and you are capable to achieve wealth, and financial success, IT.WILL.HAPPEN.  It starts with the mind and the thoughts you plant everyday. I write about meditation, listening to my thoughts and quieting the self-doubt, and reading this book has helped strengthen my mindset to create abundance.

Sending out “ships”

Chellie likes to refer to taking action and doing things that will create wealth by sending out ships (you’ll have to get the book to learn further about WHY she likes to refer action steps as ships – it’s a great story and a bit of history too). She helps you get clear on what exactly you are doing with your time and what actions you should be doing that will translate into the ships returning to you with wealth and abundance.

Finding and swimming with “dolphins”

Your tribe, your girls, your support is another insight that ties into how you go about creating your wealth. Finding your dolphins are the ladies that truly support you, give you the hard feedback because they care (and not because they are jealous or envious of you) and they want the best for you, because as dolphins swim and play, they are stronger together and able to fight off any danger (like sharks). Your tribe will be stronger together when the support is genuine and authentic.

Being balanced and enlightened

Having money in the bank and debt free is all great, but if you don’t have love (passions, family and friends) to enjoy the experiences, what’s the point in having money in the bank? Chellie provides checks and balances to help you find wealth through passions.

“You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing, and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off you.” – Maya Angelou

Count your money, count your blessings

Having wealth means also taking care of it and honoring the money energy that comes your way. Chellie writes about how to appreciate the money and seeing the opportunities when money comes knocking at your door. It may be through your gifts, or talents or there’s an untapped abundance you could be creating for yourself.

Since I started reading the book, I’ve seen a pretty amazing increase coming in, due to all the ships I’ve sent out earlier this year.  I still have another 315 days to go and I will have a second book review in 2018 when I finish it.

“Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.”
